Criteria to become a member

At Voice of Women in Innovation (VOWI), we welcome women who are passionate about innovation, equity, and impact across sectors. Our community thrives on diversity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to shaping the future.

To become a member, applicants should meet the following criteria:

VOWI – Member Participation Guidelines

To maintain a collaborative and impactful community, all members of VOWI Global are expected to contribute in the following ways.

  1. Thought Leadership
  • Delivering speeches or masterclasses based on your expertise. 
  • Acting as a moderator in the VOWI speaker series and discussions
  • Writing articles for VOWI platforms
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices within clusters through discussions and knowledge exchange
  1. VOWI Ambassador Cluster
  • Being active on social media by sharing VOWI updates and initiatives
  • Inviting speakers or experts to participate in VOWI events or sessions
  • Building strategic partnerships and collaborations for the community
  • Share your VOWI Membership Certificate on social media to highlight your association and help increase the community’s visibility.

Add your role as “Member – VOWI” on your LinkedIn profile to showcase your participation in the network.

Community Growth & Engagement 

  • Invite colleagues, peers, and industry connections to join the community and contribute to its growth.
  • Supporting the establishment of VOWI chapters in different countries or regions
  • Taking initiative to lead or co-lead a cluster within the community, helping manage activities, collaborations, and engagement within that cluster
  • Joining the VOWI WhatsApp group is mandatory for announcements, updates, and coordination.
  • Members must also be part of the VOWI private LinkedIn group to participate in discussions, networking, and knowledge sharing within the community.

Members will have the following rights –

  • Interactive workshops
  • Networking sessions with community members and leaders
  • Participation in clusters and community gatherings

2. Visibility Opportunities

  • Features on VOWI social media channels
  • Participation in internal community groups
  • Publication opportunities in the partnered magazine
  • Guest appearances on the collaborative podcast.
  • Recognition programs such as the Women Innovator of the Year

3. Knowledge & Learning

  • Expert-led masterclasses
  • Speaker series with industry leaders
  • Article series and thought leadership content
  • Valuable insights and information shared within the community groups

4. Opportunity to Propose Initiatives

  • Proposing joint initiatives or collaborations with their organizations
  • Proposing and leading new activities, programs, or events within the community

Woman Innovator of the Year 2026

If you are nominating another woman, fill out the form for the other woman
