My goal was simple but deeply personal. To make mental health support accessible to people who feel unseen in traditional systems.

This is the story of “Jona Doda”

“When I founded Bliss, my goal was simple but deeply personal. To make mental health support accessible to people who feel unseen in traditional systems. As an Albanian woman who lived abroad for years, I experienced firsthand how cultural barriers and language gaps can make therapy inaccessible for millions of immigrants. Most global platforms like BetterHelp or Talkspace serve Western audiences and overlook cultural nuance, leaving diaspora communities without support that truly understands them.

Bliss was born to change that. It’s the first culturally attuned online therapy platform built for diaspora communities, starting with the Albanian-speaking population. We connect users with licensed therapists who share their language and cultural context, and we’re now expanding globally.

What makes Bliss innovative is not just access, it’s how we reimagine therapy through technology. We’re pioneering AI-powered “Digital Twins” of therapists: personalized, ethical AI companions that replicate each therapist’s approach, language, and empathy. This lets users access culturally relevant, human-centered support anytime, bridging the gap between sessions and democratizing care for underrepresented populations.”
